Vanilla Bean Vine (Vanilla planifolia)

Vanilla Bean Vine (Vanilla planifolia) is a tropical climbing orchid grown for its fragrant vanilla pods, widely used to produce natural vanilla flavouring for desserts, baking, and perfumes. It forms long, fleshy vines with glossy green leaves and pale yellow-green flowers. Best suited to warm, humid conditions with filtered light, it needs a support to climb and can be grown indoors or in protected outdoor areas in subtropical climates.
