Sweet Tamarind

Sweet Tamarind (Tamarindus indica) is a tropical tree grown for its edible pods. Inside the pods is a soft brown pulp with a sweet taste. In India, tamarind is commonly used in cooking, especially in curries, chutneys, dals, and soups, to add flavour.
