Pavetta australiensis (also known as Butterfly Bush) is an Australian native evergreen shrub or small tree with glossy green foliage and clusters of fragrant white flowers. Growing to around 3–6m tall, it’s ideal for screening or feature planting, and prefers a warm, sheltered position in part shade with well-drained soil. The clusters of fragrant white flowers produce nectar that draws in butterflies as well as bees and other pollinators, especially during its flowering period.
