Dwarf Mango 'Alison Red' (Bowen / Kensington Pride)
Alison Red, also known as the Dwarf Bowen Mango, is a type of Kensington Pride mango with excellent smooth sweet flavour. Remarkably similar to the true Bowen Mango, but the tree only grows to 3 or 4 meters (as opposed to 10 meters plus for the true Bowen). This variety is popular amongst backyard growers looking for a Bowen or KP tasting fruit on a smaller size tree. Suitable to be grown in a small backyard, or even in a large pot.
Fibreless and smooth textured, delicious sweet flesh, with an attractive red blush on the skin. Grows 3-4m high, can be kept pruned to 2m.
Supplied in a 4 Litre pot, tree is about 60cm high.
