Chempejack

Chempejack (also known as Cempejack) is a hybrid fruit with parentage of both Jackfruit and Chempedak. The result of this hybrid is a small fruit weighing 2-10 kg, with very low latex. It's easy enough to peel with your hands and has a rich, creamy flavour. The arils are classified as semi-crisp/semi-soft. Chempjack fruit contains more arils and seeds than a Chempedak as well. 

Chempjacks are less cold tolerant than standard jackfruit and will need protection from low temperatures and wind in subtropical climates.
