Native Raspberry 'Atherton' (Rubus probus)

Raspberry Atherton is an Australian native raspberry bush producing small, sweet to tangy red berries and attractive green foliage. It has a vigorous, spreading growth habit and typically grows to around 1.5–2 m high and wide, making it well suited to garden beds, food forests, and warmer climate gardens. Best grown in full sun to part shade, it prefers well-drained soil with regular watering, especially during flowering and fruiting. Mulching helps retain moisture and support healthy growth. Pruning after fruiting helps manage size and encourages fresh new growth.
